MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Air Group One is the San Diego Wing of the CAF, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the history of the planes and
people of World War II.
Air Group One welcomes new members. If you have an interest in the preservation of World War II warbirds and vintage airplanes contact us for more information to join.
The CAF has 7,500 members throughout the world with over 70 units (wings). When you join Air Group One you will become a CAF Colonel and have the opportunity to join other members for special events, activities, and restoration of aircraft.
A monthly fundraising pancake breakfast or BBQ, depending upon the season, is held in the Air Group One hangar. It is usually on the fourth Saturday of the month but varies due to other events, and is followed by a general meeting (open to all). AIR GROUP ONE MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
The requirements for membership in Air Group One are concurrent membership to the CAF Headquarters. The annual membership cost to join the CAF is $200.00 a year. As a member of the CAF you may join the San Diego Wing, Air Group One, and pay annual dues of $50.00 ( due January 1st). Those joining in midyear may have their dues prorated. Membership fees for the CAF and for Air Group One are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
