Please join us for our momentous D-Day Commemoration Reception - the cost is a modest $35 for an amazing evening. As a nationwide non-profit organization, the Commemorative Air Force holds their motto of “Commemorate, Educate and Motivate” to the highest standard.
Air Group One, in partnership with Allen Airways Museum, invite you to join us for this exclusive event, featuring flying, dinner, drinks and dancing as you enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere of Allen Airways Museum, listening to the roaring radial engines and an incredible collection of aviation artifacts. Find yourself immersed in history, radiating the energy and smells of aviations past, as you browse the galleries of vintage travel posters, WWII Flight gear, and rare flying relics.
Available for your enjoyment will be a sneak-peek of the upcoming AirShow San Diego by Air Group One, displayed in Allen Airways’ incredible private theater and enjoy raffled rides in vintage Stearman, Great Lakes, Liaison and Texan Aircraft.

7:15 - 7:40 pm Special Guest Speaker Eric Lund, Head of the El Cajon Chamber of Commerce will be discussing Air Group One's role within the community, the upcoming AirShow and the El Cajon Aerotropolis concept.

The D-Day Doll, a WII C-53 troop carrier that completed 3 mission on 7-8 June 1944 during the Normandy Invasion. Get an up-close and personal view of the aircraft while talking to the pilots that continue to fly this 70+ year old heroic aircraft.
